You are one of the few out there whose wings are
truly ANGELIC. Selfless, powerful, and
divine, you are one blessed with a certain
cosmic grace. You are unequalled in
peacefulness, love, and beauty. As a Being of
Light your wings are massive and a soft white
or silver. Countless feathers grace them and
radiate the light within you for all the world
to see. You are a defender, protector, and
caretaker. Comforter of the weak and forgiver
of the wrong, chances are you are taken
advantage of once in awhile, maybe quite often.
But your innocence and wisdom sees the good in
everyone and so this mistreatment does not make
you colder. Merciful to the extreme, you will
try to help misguided souls find themselves and
peace. However not all Angelics allow
themselves to be gotten the better of - the
Seraphim for example will be driven to fighting
for the sake of Justice and protection of those
less powerful. Congratulations - and don't ever
change - the world needs more people like you.

ah another lovely holiday of irrate customers, parking lots that feel a lot more like demolition derbies and lots of money being exchanged, come and gone. was pretty good this year, at my aunt's morning brunch, everyone kept saying i look better and had lost a bit of weight. i...don't really know so i'll just take it as it is. n.n; it was great to see the kids and i got to meet the new pet dog, Charlie, who's not exactly the type of dog i'd go for but is friendly and fun as hell. XD cute guy but i'd rather have another husky or the like. my dad seemed to be doing good with the knee surgery and sher (my stepmom) was doing good with her back surgery. all in all, the family was looking good.
dinner at my bro's was good too, finally got to see his place. been the doorstep a few times but never actually INSIDE. n.n; it's a nice place though not much for free room.
if anything, the only prob i had with this year was that i got even MORE behind in sleep than i already had. man...holidays are supposed to be about sleeping in without any worries but eh...whatever. i think the most noted gifts this year is the excercise bike, which they actually went to the trouble of aligning it with my computer monitor so that i can watch and work out at the same time... n.n; ...and the Utena dvd box set that i had put on my xmas wishlist to my mom (i guess i'm hard to shop for n.n;) but wasn't really expecting to get since it's well...Utena. o.o; but i ain't complaining. n.n; now i just need Rose collection 1, 2 and the Black Rose box and i'm all~ good.
after dinner with my bro and co, met back up with kyo and michi and went to watch the 11:15pm showing of RotK at mercado, which was surprisingly not as full as i thought it would be. the movie was pretty awesome but i know i'll have to pick up the extended version later because it felt like they left quite a bit out of the story but for what was presented, definate thumbs up. was a fun ride throughout the entire trilogy and i'm happy to be part of the generation that gets to see it on the large screen. now someone bring on HP:PoA dammit. XD
woke up today way too damn early and after watching a bit of the Utena dvds and playing a bit of FFXI, went out to have lunch then do a bit of after xmas sale shoppin' at valley fair. aye curamba the parking... n.n; after managing that hazard, went to Sam Goody since they're closing down and having a massive sale...but of course got there way too late and 90% of the store was gone already. x.x dah well, went to hot topic to see if they had any Zim stuff and got the Gir beanie, two kitty crossbone hankerchief things and a punk Hello Kitty patch for michi so i could get my card stamped. n.n; after that, pacific sunwear was calling me so i went and got like 6 new shirts and new pants which will definately need to be hemmed. darn them for not taking us short ass asians/islanders into account. n.n; then there was michi's mandatory stop at See's Candy and lastly Suncoast where i got vol 3 of Haibane Renmei <3 though i'm kinda miffed because there was no pencilboard in the case. feh. >.<
so yeah, it was a nice christmas. happy belated holidays to all i didn't see or talk to this weekend! n.n
oh, one last thing, Movie Comics has called it quits so i'm replacing it with a new comic Chibi Cheerleaders from Outer Space and a somewhat sequel to a comic i used to read before, Road Waffles. that is all. really. this time. n.n;

yes kiddies, it's the new crack and thy name be Final Fantasy XI! n.n; i've managed to get my lil' thief Nekotine up to lvl 12 and to a point where she can wear...*GASP* PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTS!!!!!11!! ...yes, i know it's sad that i'm rejoicing over virtual pants but if you were stuck in bikini armor that looks like it'd chafe like a mofo for a long time, you'd rejoice too. o.o; in any case, yes Aya-chan, you're right, around lvl 12 is when it's hell to solo. T.T i REALLY need a regular white mage around now that i'm running around the Tahrongi canyons and such. either that or i need to just go back to giant bees and mandragoras even though i get less xp from them. waaa~h! n.n;
in other news, work has been...ALSKDJFALWIEURJALKDNGLAKWEJF. yeah, i think that about sums it up. up until about thursday or so, we were getting constantly pummeled with customers but i guess by friday people were sick of doing holiday shopping/shipping so we got a small break. of course, i expect it to be hell come monday again. o.o honestly though, it's not like it's a rush i'm not used to. i guess if anything, i'm not used to having only 1 register in a place of work that has to be used by 6 people at any given time. x.x then again, it's not like we have room for another register. >.< but dah well, such is life.
hmmm...what else...oh yeah! i finally finished reading The Onion Girl by Charles De Lint last night. i REALLY liked this book for mainly two reasons. 1 - i really love the way De Lint describes the 'dreamworld' and how it works. because when i think about how my dreams play out in my mind, it's a really fitting explanation. 2 - while i've never had it as bad as the main character, i still really connected with her past. really, De Lint's stories seem to start off kind of slow and maybe a bit disorienting since he likes to change the perspective of the story a lot from character to character but once you reach that 'uh oh' realization, it just takes off from there. his sense of 'fantasy' is interesting as well since it's not really fantasy like LotR or the like but at the same time still has elements of them in his stories. i think like he said on his webpage, it's more like mythical fiction than fantasy. ...i dunno, i think the closest story like De Lint's would be Gaiman's American Gods but a few notches down on the fantasy. oh heck, just read it for yourself and you'll see what i mean. n.n; i think i'll be reading Whisper to a Scream next even though there's a book before it in the 'Newford series' that i haven't read yet but thankfully, the Newford stories aren't so dependable on each other that you HAVE to read them in order to appreciate/understand them. anyhoo, guess it's shower time then to the bookstore. XD

The Solitary Rose is associated with loneliness, melancholy, and patience. It is governed by the goddess Merope and its sign is The Sword, or Unrequited Love.
As a Solitary Rose, you may be summed up as a hopeless romantic. You desire love and have so much love to give, but thing just never seem to work out the way you want them to. In life, you can be very optomistic, even when things are gray and nothing works out to your expectations.

in other news, i picked up FFXI and XIII for GC. i -really- like XIII so far. it's kinda like what GTA would be like if it was FPS, cel shaded and had the comic book style of Max Payne w/o the pulp feel. it also has multiplayer capability so i'll have to try that out later sometime. as for FFXI, i like it so far but haven't completely made up my mind yet. the whole not being able to pick your server thing is really lame and let's just say i spent about 30-45mins trying to get to Titan. though i did hit Phoenix twice but since i don't really know the MacHall guys or Mr Madsen very well from their respected webcomics, i declined to stay on it. n.n; i also hit a couple of my other friends servers but i didn't know how frequently they played sooo i didn't stay there either (Bad Aya, no Nekotine for j00!)
anyways, i'm just hoping that along with seeing Last Samurai this weekend, i'll have more time to myself to play around with both games seeing as last weekend was ass. -.-; waaaah, still don't know what i'm gonna do for new years yet either. >.<

well, turkey day went off without any real hitches apart from not being able to get to LA for dinner or anything with dad and co, and michi's thing with her dad. >.< i still feel a bit 'out of my element' with my new inlaws but i was able to hang out with Randy, the youngest son, for a good amount of time. he got to tell me about his trip to japan and i showed him the ridiculous amount of anime i have and recommended some things to him since he didn't really have any access to digisubbed stuff. he also seemed to be very entertained by my Gir plushie wearing my black and white Cat in the Hat-like hat. so far, i get along with him the best but who knows. i dunno...they're just so...typical surburia or something for me. n.n; anyhoo, food was good and yes, i got to eat carbs. *GASP* dessert was even better, pumpkin bread pudding. mmmmm~ good shtuff. oh, there was one other lil' prob. my mom made the turkey, gravy, mashed potatos, cranberry sauce and brussel sprouts. the inlaws brought the sweet potatos and stuffing...and took what was left with them. like...ALL of it. ...that's just so...so...not filipino or something. o.o dah well, not like mom would let me eat the stuffing after today anyways. n.n;
anyhow, moving on...the day before thanksgiving, my manager had asked if i could bring in the mail this saturday since the person working that day would be alone and can't leave the store. he says he'll pay me a full $20 to do it. i figure, hey...$20 for like 20-30mins of 'work'? why not? then i get to work today...
j: so you know about tomorrow right?
me: yeah, M asked me already.
j: cool, so before you come in with the mail, just make sure to call first just in case we need stamps.
me: okay, anything else?
j: nah, just hang around until they're done putting the mail in the boxes then you can go.
me: wait, i have to man the store while the mail is being put out too?
j: yeah... mike didn't tell you that?
bleh, so yeah, on top of having to worry about it RAINING tomorrow when i'm moving the rest of my stuff back here...now i'm set back like another 30-45mins than i expected. meh... ~.~; well...i guess $20 is still better than just normal work time wage but still a lil' irked that my manager 'forgot' to mention staying behind. *sigh* then again, i guess M could've thought i only had to bring it in then S told J a different story when he called in. either way...LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME. dah well... and now for some testing!
You are Form 0, Phoenix: The Eternal.
"And The Phoenix's cycle had reached zenith, so he consumed himself in fire. He emerged from his own ashes, to be forever
Some examples of the Phoenix Form are Quetzalcoatl (Aztec), Shiva (Indian), and Ra-Atum
(Egyptian). The Phoenix is associated with the concept of life,the number 0, and the element of fire. His sign is the eclipsed sun.
As a member of Form 0, you are a determined individual. You tend to keep your sense of optimism, even through tough times and have a positive outlook on most situations. You have a way of looking at going through life as a journey that you can constantly learn from. Phoenixes are the best friends to have because they cheer people up easily.

wai wai~ Turkey day and stuff. let's see how much my mom regulates my food intake today. ~.~; bleh~ okay so maybe i -won't- be seeing Elf today since i guess my bro is gonna spend most of the day up here. o.o; it'll definately save me on gas but i do want to see my dad and co too. well, we'll see. we're starting here in SC at 1 and they're starting at 4. i think that's too close for eating but i can probably at least drive down to hang out or something. n.n;
in other news, it just figures that the day i decide to give up on gravity and my account, and plan to somehow make a big ascii middle finger to them in the GM email box the next day...they finally get off their asses and roll back my account to it's proper place AFTER A MONTH HAS GONE BY on said next day. bastages! >.< bleh...well now i have like a lil' over a month to play so i guess i'll use that time to decide if i really want to keep giving them money even though it's now proven their service SUCKS MIGHTY BIG ROCKY MOUNTAIN OYSTERS... but yeah, happy to see there were still a handful of friendly familiar faces around even though TnS is dead. i decided to go ahead and make a second guild, Hateshinai na Rakuen/Endless Paradise, just in case anyone rejoins or the like but i need to work on a better guild emblem. stupid 24x24 requirement. >.<
and boots, you have been added to the list. welcome aboard soldier! XD that done and said, i'm out for the finishing touches of cleaning my room. n.n;

interesting...my mag on PSO just evolved a fourth time, so now instead of the weird ultra bright neon orange glowstick like firefly looking Kaitabha, i have purple round thing with white/red star-like wings coming out of it and a red eye called Madhu. o.o; ...oh well, as long as it twirls or the like when it gets pissed off, it's all good. i hope my photon blasts stay the same tho, i like them the way that they are. o.o
in other news, i've been researching a bit on other GC games i might buy seeing as PSO is the one and only game i have for the system. Prince of Persia is looking really neat even if people say it's short. besides, i sincerely doubt i'll be one of the people that finish it in 10 hours. n.n; i liked Tony Hawk on the DC just fine but i dunno about underground. i just kinda got TH on the DC because it was cheap and it's just cruel but entertaining to watch people fly and skid across the gravel on that game. XD games that haven't been released yet but that are catching my eye also are I-Ninja. that's pretty self explanitory as to why i'd get it. i figure it'll be something akin to Brave Fencer Musashiden but with a ninja. XD next, there's XIII or Thirteen, which seems to be following the Dead to Rights/Max Payne/Grand Theft Auto like theme but with cell shading to give it a more 'comic book' feel. very intriguing indeed... last, maaaaybe Beyond Good and Evil. looks like it'll have at least a fun script with an interesting gameplay to go with it. prevent alien invasion by taking pictures! pokemon snap eat your heart out. o.o
though before all that, most importantly, i've been researching into a corner computer desk for my room, followed by a small tv stand of some sort. i was surprised to not find that many corner desks on the ikea site. dah well, there was one in an Office Depot catalog i'll prolly take a look at thurs or this weekend, and of course, there's frys as well. i'm hoping not to spend more than $125, $150 at the most but i don't think i'll have to. i don't really want much other than a place to put my speakers and maybe some above the monitor shelf space. don't really need fancy organization slots or cd holders. in fact, i know i was saying a binder system for my anime cds before but i think i found something better in the Office Depot catalog. hopefully it won't cost much more in the long run. n.n;
oog...then there's xmas shopping. ugh...i have ideas but no idea how practical they are for my budget. guess i'll have to write 'em down and really organize it this year. ~.~;
and in closing...red licorice soda is AWFUL. taste like fucked up carbonated cough syrup. BLECH. i can't believe i forced myself to finish drinking a glass of it. >.<;
"Lady in Waiting"

so i finally went ahead and emailed gravity today about my account being currently frozen on RO. now i know they've been busy doing the pvp thing and all that but geez if it doesn't feel like it's taking a while. dah well... they more or less told me (the same day! *gasp*) that investigations take a while and they'll email me if anything changes. right...that's why i didn't get an email in the first place saying 'okay, we're investigating now. oh and your account will be frozen during that time.' i dunno...i think that would've been a bit helpful but what do i know.
since my check wasn't ready friday, i had to wait until today to get it and hopefully tomorrow i'll be able to actually cash it. feh, must remember to bring this up if it happens again. this whole payday up in the air thing just irks me to no end, privately owned or not. i like knowing i'm gonna get paid on such and such date so that i can plan for any payments or purchases i may be making around those times. only reasonable right?
ah well, in my extreme boredom and limited access of playing PSO, i decided to take a trip back to MU*land. ...yep, it's still the same. *sigh* oh well, guess it's fun to see that they're even still around with MMORPGs being so big and all. very nostalgic or something.
mmmm...upgraded my nero so now i don't have to stress about getting a seperate prog to change mp3s to wavs before burning them. wa~i thanks for the tip off kei-kun. so now i have the full Rent ost, both Last Exile osts, the Juuni Kokki ~ Yasou Tsuki no Shizuku - Piano Memories cd and the first Scrapped Princess ost available to listen on cd. wai wai~. must get more cds to burn stuff tho. thinking of setting up a binder system later for all my anime later. like...way later when i know i won't have to pack them up any time soon. n.n;
ah fuggit, i'm tired and rambling. i shall end this with this... HOT DAMN that was a kick ass play during the tail end of the 4th quarter by Parrish. i heard that crunch all the way here! whoo~ you go boy! good job stopping that possible Steelers TD. b n.n d

indeed, i agree with michi, the thunder and lightning last night was pretty loud last night. but unlike her, i like like lightning storms...provided they don't 1) knock out my electricity or 2) are going on at the wee small hours of the morning like 4am when i'd really rather sleep rather than stay up to watch and hear the wonders of nature. i think 1 nearly occured but seeing as 2 came first, i could really care less about the electricity at that time. all i knew was that at one point, lightning struck so close to us that the entire apartment complex was -SHAKING- from the boom of the thunder. i was surprised that no car alarms were sounding off afterwards. it rumbled so bad, i thought a train was passing by...then i remember, there ARE no fucking trains near that part of lawrence! ...so yeah, earplugs did NOTHING!
in other news, i also forgot to mention i started watching Uchuu no Stellvia/Stellvia of the Universe, which is a really cute and touching sci-fi series...until ep 14... then you can kind of tell from there that the series is gonna slowly go downhill from there. ~.~; haven't progressed past that part yet but i plan to during the week prolly. after that i also need to watch the Steel Angel Kurumi i borrowed because i saw a yuri-esque fan video of it so i got curious. i'm bi and i like teh yuri. sue me. =Þ
also forgot my reviews for a couple other movies. first, kill bill. love it love it love it. definately an aquired taste movie (i.e. you have to like Quentin's love for pulp, exploitation like shiat) so i don't recommend it for everyone and it's not the most accurately portrayed movie ever, but as noted, it's a Quentin movie. and for pete's sake, it's Uma Thurman...action, is so not her bag baby. which is why i think i would've prefered to see someone like Milla Jovovich in the role of The Bride but eh, good 'nuf for me.
speaking of Milla, breaking off from the review, can not wait til Resident Evil Apocalypse comes out. MUST SEE. not directed by Paul Anderson again but Alexander Witt has a pretty nice line up of movies under his belt. the recent Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Twister, Speed...not class A movies but hey, for action and very visually dependant films, i'm willing to put some faith on him.
jumping subjects again, Paul Anderson is currently filming the long awaited Aliens vs Predator movie. again, MUST SEE. not only as a fan of Anderson, but as a fan of both Aliens and Predator. these are films i saw in my childhood and marveled over with the other kids on my block. i'm just kinda iffy on the story they have lined out for it... scientist luring predators out to friggin' Antarctica with alien eggs? man, unless you have some mad titanium, space metal cage of death that the two can duke it out with, and some fat ass satellite in space that you can orbital strike the mofo with SHOULD they get out...you KNOW that was a STOOPID idea. but hey, leave it to humans i guess... n.n;
anyhow, yeah, thumbs up to Kill Bill, definately gonna see the sequel. next, Scary Movie 3. Queen Latifah. PUMMELING DA FUCK OUT OF THE RING TV LADY. BEST. SHIT. E V A R!
meh, looks like Halo doesn't have co-op abilities for the campaigns, thus limiting it to CS-like run around and kill each other. boo~ no fun. so now i'm not sure if i'll get it. bleh...guess i could default back to AO but don't want to do that unless kyo or jahi are gonna play too.
today was fun. finally opened up hard mode on PSO after dying twice (huzzah for Scape Dolls n.n;) but all was not lost since Tyrella also lvl'd 2 times, if not 3. catching up slowly. n.n; got to show a bit more Ultra Maniac to kyo 'n michi then headed to j-towne for dinner with stephpon and jurijuri, who's visiting from chee-kaw-go. XD best thing though, got to have okonomiyaki and japan special crepe after not being to j-towne is so long, i honestly don't remember when i was there last. n.n; anyhooten, work tomorrow~ sleep time for me~ z.z

i am back. my excuse for not blogging is the fact i was sick of looking at the same layout for too damn long. so now i changed it. and now i'm blogging. see? it all works out. b n.n d
anyways, err...yeah lots of stuff. saw Matrix Revolution. i liked it. i liked it more than Rebloated but not more than the original. and i don't know why people are whining about the ending and shit. i could bitch about it but that'd be a waste of electrial signals telling my fingers to move and stuff so yeah...
umm...watched a lot of anime too. caught up on Juuni Kokki only to find out they stopped animating it like 20 something episodes shy of what was originally planned. ...great. if i had know that i would've stopped at ep 39, thus preventing the start of a new 'chapter' in the epic. bleh oh well.
Wolf's Rain. emmm...yeah great until the huge slew of review episodes. what, Fushigi Yuugi had 2 and was a 52 ep series. Wolf's Rain has 26 eps and like 5 or 6 review eps...lame if you ask me. the ending was okay but i think if they hadn't done so many damn review eps, they could've developed all the characters a lot better. dah well.
Scrapped Princess is in no way scrap itself. i really enjoyed the series and all the characters in it, especially Raquel-nee, whose dex i bow down to muchly (see ref. RO). XD Pacifica was definately a cool character too, even if she was a bit of a 'princess' at times, she knew when to be serious and i give her props for that. nice series, definately a recommendation on my list if you liked the Slayers Next series.
Matantei Loki Ragnarok...one. word. DADDY! i <3 Fenrir. i want to love him and cuddle him and stroke him and pet him and squeeeeeeeeeeze him and stuff. he's just adorable. Reiya is damn cute too. *nadenade* Freya...deserves some lovin', poor lady. Narugami-kun too. Yamino-san needs to go to like QVC Anonymous or something. Skuld angsty scene was very wtf?! but in a wang-tastic way. *nodnod* michi fell over the real Loki. didn't see that coming. *snerk* fun fun series. *looks for a beanstalk to be nadenade'd under*
Last Exile, the opening song/sequence intrigued me from the start and i wasn't disappointed. well, okay a lil' since one of my favorite nutty characters bites it but not like i couldn't see it coming after a while. *sniff* dah well, another good series with an awesome soundtrack to back it up. another recommendation if you like war drama-like shtuff.
eeto eeto...i think that's all the series i finished lately. started on new stuff, which is listed on the side currently. Fumoffu is great, a nice light and hilarious follow up to the original series Full Metal Panic. while Sagara is definately not the brightest bulb, it's cute to see him and Chidori together...even if he's a brick-kun. Gunslinger Girl reminds me GREATLY of a mix of La Femme Nikita and The Professional. looks like it'll get depressing as all hell but i think i'll enjoy it all the way. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is...very rabu rabu angsty and i smack myself for having started watching the series when i said i wouldn't do it for a while. dah well...it'll fit in with the now rainy weather. Read or Die TV is lovely. it's one of the few TV series i can speak of that actually keeps the quality of animation close if not exactly to that of the original OAV. you just really don't see that often. *tips hat* wa~h poor Nenene~. ;.; Yomiko-san doko~?! Ultra Maniac is i think the only other happy series i'm watching at the moment. the mangaka who does it is the same of Marmalade Boy/Mint na Bokura fame, but with this one, i can see they were having a lot more fun with rather than angsting. *thumbs up*
mmmm...oh yes, RO. the game that i have invested way too much time might finally be drawing the curtains soon. not too long ago my account got hack and i lost everything i had fought for from pretty much the base up again. so i emailed gravity. twice. their response? for some reason, as i found out today, my account is currently blocked. ...i r not happy about that. *sigh*
ah well, i guess i have the newly bought (non-blingbling)Gamecube to tide me over with Phantasy Star Online, though i don't think i'll be jumping online anytime really soon. i still have CounterStrike as well and am strongly considering picking up the PC version of Halo. as for MMORPGs, i don't feel like picking up either SWG or FFXI since neither have really piqued my interest that much, but time will tell.
i think half of the fact that i might put games off for a while is the fact that i changed jobs recently as well. OSH gave me the boot for being 7 minutes late for the last time, which was fine with me since the hours were killing me with their erratic arrangements. so now i'm working at the UPS Store, recently known as Mailbox Etc. and oh good lord does it feel good to have a regular steady schedule. i could really care less if i'm being paid less than i was at OSH, the amount of stress off my shoulders is payment enough. ...though with christmas coming, i'm sure that stress will be back full force for these hopefully brief next couple of months. x.x
other than that, the only thing else to add is that i picked up another of Charles De Lint's books, The Onion Girl. i'm only like 20 pages in and i'm happy with how the book is proceding, especially since De Lint has a way with crossing over certain characters into his books. i'll have to read them all eventually to find out who belongs to which books.
okay, now i'm starving. buh bai for now.

Originally, I was going to do an Arisugawa Juri layout but then

Full Metal Jacket). Hopefully the background doesn't give everyone
a splitting headache but i couldn't find a better camo tile. Yurushite
