i just recently picked up The Best of Rent - Highlights from
the Original Cast, and have been listening to it on a pretty frequent
basis every since. while listening to the songs i haven't heard
in nearly a year by now, i noticed that One Song Glory would make
a interesting fanvid/fic to Saishuu Heiki Kanojo/She, The Ultimate
Weapon since the catch phrase for the series is "The last
love song on this little planet." then the cd progressed
to Will I?, which REALLY fits Chise, especially towards the end
of the story when...well that's spoilers. n.n; anyways, this is
a combonation of two of my fave things right now, depressing as
they may be. n.n;
can you read me now?

sorry to those who check my blog daily or so. recently, my will to blog has more or less been sapped by my utter need to just chill and defrag after work. that and not much has really happened in the last two weeks that i felt it necessary or interesting enough to really post. if you want the last two weeks in detail, here it is.
wake up. get dressed and ready. go to work. work for 8 hours. drive home. eat maybe. check email, web comics and blogs. watch some new anime if it d/l'd completely, if not, queue them up to finish. eat if i haven't already and am actually hungry enough. sleep. repeat unless it's a day off.
hurray, hoorah, sis-boom-bah.
i guess one thing that's worthy of mentioning is the fact that the HoIR might be losing all of it's residents by the new year, thus i will be forced to either stay in SC even longer or start looking for an apartment of some sort, in hopes that my mom will let me move a little earlier than originally intended. either way, it really sucks ass. ugh, i so wanted to hold onto the house because well, not very many people in our group have a house that is open for fairly large gatherings w/o the immediate threat of parents in the vicinity. that and i REALLY don't want to move my shit again. blah. *sigh* oh well, i guess i'll start looking into apartments anyhow just in case. if things go right, maybe my mom will wait on renting the house out immediately after the new year kicks in, so that i can store my shit there until i actually have a place to move it to. because there is no WAY, i'm moving it all back here. that's just plain asinine and STUPID. i'd rather at least get a storage garage somewhere down in SV/MV. anyone looking for a roomie? =P
resolved for new years

I. AM. SO. GOING. TO. THIS. i am going and that's all there is to it. sorry to all the people all i know going to gary's party but i MUST go to this. as a dj and loyal listener of Armin Van Buuren, i must go. i'm slightly jealous that we don't get corsten in sf again, but chicago and la do, but i can definately live with this lineup. it's like...a guarantee i'll have a good night. Jonathan Ojeda. Christopher Lawrence. Donald Glaude. Armin Van Buuren. am i sparkling? can you see the sparkles from here? are they coming out of your screen yet? omgomgomgomgsogoing. i am going to put in my write-it for work tomorrow for the 31st and 1st off.
"The weekend has landed. All that exists now is clubs, drugs, pubs and parties. I've got 48 hours off from the world man I'm gonna blow steam out of my head like a screaming kettle. I'm gonna talk codshit to strangers all night. I'm gonna lose the plot on the dance floor. The free radicals inside me are freaking, man. Tonight, I'm Jip Travolta. I'm Peter Popper. I'm going to Never Never Land with my chosen family, man. We're gonna get more spaced out than Neil Armstrong ever did. Anything could happen tonight, y'know? This could be the best night of my life. I've got 73 quid in my back burner. I'm gonna wax the lot, man. The Milky Bars are on me! YEAH! Callin' all the crusaders to the dance floor in green-light mode. Disco queens, club casualties, c'mon! Let's join forces! LET'S HOOF IT-AHH!"

a~h happy mass consumption of turkey day indeed. definately had my fill of grub but not to the point were pants needed to be unbuttoned to give way. n.n; was nice to see family as always. everyone was pretty surprised with the change of hairstyle as well. n.n; overall a nice holiday.
so we did end up seeing Treasure Planet, which definately makes a fun, rollercoaster ride, but even though i never read the book, it still felt like they cut out some character development dialogue. ...or maybe it's because they show a lot of the exciting scenes or a clip of them in the trailers. there's still some good moments that were left out though. the cg is w00t. it didn't feel overused at all because most of it was necessary for the movement of the scenes. i was really surprised with Emma Thompson's role in the movie since the movie i associate her with the most is the very dainty Sense and Sensibility. n.n; she made a great headstrong captain to my surprise, two thumbs up! i want a morph. XD morph 0wnz. the only other thing that was bugging me was...how the hell were they all breathing in spacce since the ships are all open? o.o i mean, it seemed to be a big deal to go overboard but i dunno...there didn't seem to be any type of forcefield or exhaust pipes to create atmosphere. o.o;; *shrug* just one of those thoughts. n.n; anyways, definately worth a watch in the theatres just to get the full view of well...everything. o.o maybe more of a matinee since you really do see a lot of the action sequences in the trailers but before it moves to small theatres.
making the cut
Thursday, November 28, 2002 02:03 a.m.
and what a cut it was. so i went ahead and cut my hair after work yesterday. i will say no more than it is definately short. there's no denying this. i will be waiting to take any pictures just because i want to see looks of shock/terror/etc in person. it's just so much more fun that way. =P made it hard to keep my mind on work today since i kept playing with it. n.n; i can't help it. it's so different. not to mention that only my natural hair color is visible now. it's been a while since i've seen it in it's entirety. o.o; mom didn't give me The Look(tm) too much but did say 'you should've kept it a little bit longer' which was to be expected. =P bah. i might cut it even shorter after 2 weeks or so, but only if this style just doesn't end out working for me. must. resist. urge. to. dye. again.
happy turkey day to the late night/early morning people, or for those at different time zones. nothing too out of the ordinary planned for my day really. just the same o' same o'. lunch w/ mom, try not to eat too heavy, drive over the hill, dinner with dad and co., see movie (hopefully Treasure Island), then come home. blah...i work at 8 am on fri. cruel cruel. ~.~; oh well.
i've been working on and off on my haibane.net page and after a bit of fiddling around, i think i have a concept i really like. yep, it's black as usual. can't help it, it's such a workable color. XD hopefully, i'll be able to finish at least the opening page within a week, then move on to the misc intro pages. after all the emails to cyberpixels, i should do something with the space. n.n;
onto random thoughts: i think i blogged about my mom and dave saying that i couldn't eat in my room anymore when they got the new carpet in before. the reasons they gave me were they didn't want me to risk spilling anything (which i never did when i was first living here. the only time the floor was soiled was when the CAT took a SHIT on the floor.) and they don't want the carpet to absorb the smell of the food. ri~ght. like both of these aren't problems that are easily remedied, especially since i work at OSH. *rolls eyes* i have to wonder if in addition to those reasons, that it's also an attempt to force me out of the room in attempts to having 'family social' like time. which i'm all for, but my god, not when they're watching the fucking golf channel or the like. -.-; even if there is a show on i would like to watch, sometimes i just finised d/l'ing something and would rather watch that. bah. bah i say.
whoa...accidentally clicked on a link in IRC before opening a new window and thought i erased everything i wrote. that would've sucked. just about as much as my nick Reki being taken by a bot again. i swear, people with bots are like in league with The Peer to get my nicks. >.< ah well, i've defaulted back to Reiko for the time being.
lastly... OMFG THAT IS A MESSED UP WAY TO END EPISODE 4 OF GATEKEEPERS 21!!! WTF?!?! DAMN THIS DRAMA!!! AUGH!!! >.< ...i know she lives but still. it's just very 'oh he~ll no the Invaders DID NOT!'. digisubbers...must...sub...FASTER. XD
